Class Policy

A Mother’s Haven Class Refund Policy for Mothers’ Gathering: Withdraw more than 6 days before the start date is eligible for a refund less a $25 administration fee or 10% fee, whichever is less. Withdrawal 6 or less days prior to the start date forfeits payment. Classes are non-transferable for merchandise.

Make-up Policy & Schedule Changes for Mothers’ Gathering: Classes may be added, delayed, or cancelled based on enrollment. Mothers’ Gathering classes are offered as an 8-week session. Classes are not available for purchase as a one-time attendance or on a “drop-in” basis. However, classes may be purchased on a prorated basis (a minimum of 6 classes must be purchased within the same session). Due to the nature of bonding and support that is created in a consistent group environment, there are no make-ups allowed for absences in Mothers’ Gathering sessions, nor are class credits or refunds permitted for missed classes. Please note that for the health, safety, and consideration of everyone, classes may be moved to a virtual format if necessary. 

Make-up Policy & Schedule Changes for All Other Classes (Besides Mothers’ Gathering): Make-ups 30 days after class or session is over will not be honored. Please call in advance to schedule a make-up. Make-ups scheduled but not attended will be forfeited. One make-up per session allowed. Classes are non-transferable for merchandise. Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to a class forfeits class and payment. Classes may be added or cancelled based on enrollment. If the class needs to be rescheduled due to illness or inclement weather, you will be notified by email through Hi Sawyer or by phone as soon as possible. The rescheduled class will be made-up on the next available date.

A Mother’s Haven Sick Policy: We do not allow children in the class who are sick and/or contagious. We encourage parents to call us if they have questions about incubation periods and symptoms.

Mother’s Haven Classroom Policy: Please be kind & leave your shoes & food behind. Socks are required. Guests are not allowed (unless authorized by the instructor).

Mothers’ Gathering classes are non-clinical and for educational purposes only. They do not comprise a therapist-client relationship. They are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions you have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have discussed in class.

Breast Pump Rental Policy

  • Full payment is due at time of rental.
  • Credit card number on file required – no security deposit.
  • Maximum daily rate of $5 per day will be applied for every day past due date until time of renewal or return with an additional $10 late fee charge. Credit card on file will be charged weekly until pump is returned or new rental period is indicated.
  • $15.00 cleaning charge if unit is returned dirty.
  • $125.00 damage fee if unit is returned damaged.
  • No refunds for early returners.

Product Exchanges

We will gladly exchange an item as long as it has not been used, worn, washed, or altered, and has the original tags attached and in its original packaging and condition within 30 days of purchase. If you need a different size or color of the item you purchased, please call or email us with your request along with your original order number. When we receive your request, we will charge your card for the new item as soon as it ships out and we will issue a refund for the item you are returning as soon as we receive it. Please remember, since we are a specialty boutique, some of our items are one of a kind or specialty seasonal and not reorder able, we cannot guarantee that the item size or color you want will be available. Product Returns

We take pride in all our products and want you to be thrilled with your purchase from A Mother’s Haven. However, if for any reason you aren’t completely satisfied, we will do our best to make it easy to get exactly what you want.

All returns may be made in our store or via mail, whichever is most convenient for you. Non-sale merchandise in new or unused condition in its original packaging may be returned with your receipt or packing slip up to 30 days from the purchase date for store credit (less shipping costs and surcharges). All gift returns may be for store credit only; no cash refunds are available. Sale merchandise in new or unused condition are final sale and may not be returned. We reserve the right to refuse to accept the return of any item that appears to have been used, worn, or washed prior to return. Final Sale Items

We’re sorry, but for hygienic reasons, we can’t accept returns on undergarments, skin care, personal use products such as baby bottles, breast pumps, breast pump parts or accessories, breast pads, and bathing suits.

Also, all sale, customized, special order, furniture, and drop-shipped purchases are FINAL SALES (no returns).

Out-of-Stock Items

We try our best to keep the website up-to-date, however, certain items sell out before we are able to update the site. In the event of that happening, we will contact you by phone or email to let you know that the item is out of stock and when we are expecting a new shipment. Keep in mind, that as we are a small boutique and carry many unique items and clothing that is cut to order, we might not always be able to re-order an out of stock item. In that case, we will issue you a refund immediately.
