Babies breastfeed in 2 phases:
1. Stimulation Phase – when babies first go to breast, they suck fast and light to start milk flowing.
2. Expression Phase – after milk flow or “let-down” starts, babies breastfeed with a slower, deeper suck, bringing out more milk faster.

Shipping is not available for this item. We can deliver the breast pump for a fee within a 10-mile radius of the store. For more information on delivery and to add delivery to your order, please purchase delivery with your pump rental purchase.

Breast Pump Rental Policy
- Full payment is due at time of rental.
- Credit card number on file required – no security deposit.
- A $10 late fee will be applied and charged for items not returned by or on their due date. For every day after the due date, a daily late fee of $5 will be applied. Credit card on file will be charged weekly for daily late fees until item is returned or until a new order for rental extension has been placed.
- All late fees must be paid before a rental may be extended.
- If a rental due date falls on a day the store is closed, then the due date will extend until the next day the store is open.
- $15.00 cleaning charge if unit is returned dirty.
- $125.00 damage fee if unit is returned damaged.
- THERE ARE NO REFUNDS for early returns of rentals.

How much does it cost to rent a breast pump?
Rental prices depend on the length of your term. We offer flexible options, from 14 days to 180 days, so you can choose what works best. If you’re looking for an affordable breast pump for rent, this is one of the best values around. Please note that bodies respond differently to pumping, and we are unable to guarantee anyone’s specific performance with a pump. If you are unsure how your body will respond to pumping, we recommend renting your pump for the shortest rental period and then extending your rental once you are familiar with the pumping experience.
How long can I rent a breast pump?
You can rent a breast pump for as little as two weeks or up to six months. Whether you need short-term help while building your breast milk supply or a longer rental after returning to work, we offer options to match your timeline.
How do I return the breast pump?
Just bring the unit back to our boutique by the due date. Be sure it’s clean to avoid a cleaning fee. If your return date falls on a day we’re closed, don't stress. Your breast pump rental will be due the next business day.
Please note that there are no refunds for early pump returns. Once a pump has been assigned to a rental, it is no longer available for rent by other customers requesting to rent a pump for the same days. For that reason, processed pump rentals are non-refundable, even if the pump is returned early.
Do you offer delivery or shipping for rentals?
We don't offer shipping, but we do provide local delivery for a small fee within a 10-mile radius of the store. If you’re attending our prenatal yoga classes, it’s easy to coordinate pickup or delivery during your visit, just ask!
Are the breast pumps safe and hygienic?
Yes, we use hospital-grade pumps that are designed for multiple users with proper personal pump kits. Every Medela Symphony rental is carefully inspected and sanitized. We personally test every pump for proper function before it is released to a customer. Also, you’ll get instructions on setup to make sure your pumping experience is clean and safe.
